Ruqaiyyah Waris Maqsood contributes to the understanding of Islam and Muslims through teaching and resource materials. A familiar name in her home town of Hull and in the wider Muslim community, Ruqaiyyah Waris Maqsood developed the GCSE course on Islam to enable students to take the course independently. Her enthusiasm for education and knowledge led her to write several books including the diligently researched The Separated Ones: Jesus, the Pharisees and Islam.
