| Awards for Excellence Mrs Qureshi
Mrs Qureshi said: “The Muslim News Awards for Excellence was an experience to remember and emulate. It was an impressive and dignified function. I must say a gread deal of thought and effort has gone into selecting different titles for the awards.”
Mrs Qureshi is headteacher at Tayyibah Girls School in Stamford Hill, Since her appointment in 1992, when the school taught a handful of girls in a basement, Tayyibah now has 300 pupils, a growing waiting list and impressive GCSE results.
