Turkey: Turkish team wins wrestling tournament

The Turkish men’s national wrestling team was declared champions of the 15th Junior International Champion Wrestling Tournament held at Ankara’s Atatürk Sports Hall.
The tournament wrapped up with competitions in the freestyle and Greco-Roman disciplines in the men’s 60 kg and 84 kg weight categories, and the women’s 51 kg, 63 kg and 72 kg weight categories on Sunday.
In the men’s freestyle discipline, the Turkish team won the tournament with 77 points, followed by Georgia and Germany.
In the men’s Greco-Roman competitions, Turkey came in first with 67 points, followed by Georgia and Russia.
In the women’s competitions, Turkey was placed second behind Russia, while Azerbaijan came in third.
