Pakistan: Shi'a Ulema Council wants deweaponization of Karachi

KARACHI, (The News): Shia Ulema Council (SUC) and various other organizations have demanded a targeted operation against the banned outfits and to deweaponize the metropolis.



Addressing a press conference here, SUC leader Allama Nazir Abbas Taqvi reiterated that the blast was not a result of sectarian violence.



He said that decision regarding burial of the deceased should be made after consulting their heirs.



Taqvi further said that that the federal government and Punjab government played ‘political game’ by blaming each other for patronizing the terrorists.



Giving ultimatum to the government till Thursday, he demanded the immediate arrest of the culprits involved in Abbas town bomb.
