Pakistan: 6 killed, 40 injured as blast hits bus terminal in SW Pakistan

ISLAMABAD, (Xinhua): At least six people were killed and over 40 others injured when a bomb hit a bus terminal in Pakistan's southwest Jafarabad district on Friday morning, local media reported.
Geo TV said that the incident happened at about 11:50 a.m. ( local time) when a bomb exploded inside a bus terminal located in Dera Allah Yar area of Jafarabad, a main district in the country's southwest Balochistan province.
According to initial reports, the blast was triggered off by a remote controlled device and the explosive materials were planted in a box that was left by some unknown people in the terminal.
The injured people were shifted to a nearby hospital where five of them were said to be in critical condition.
Three nearby shops were leveled to ground following the blast and several people were feared to be buried under the debris.
No group has claimed responsibility for the blast yet.
Police have cordoned off the area and an investigation into the incident has been kicked off.
