Dilip Hiro is a writer and journalist from London. During the Allied bombing of Iraq, he was one of the few commentators who wrote about the angst and helplessness felt by Muslims around the world for the plight of the Iraqi people. In 1991, his book Black British, White British challenged the perception and portrayal of Muslims and other minority groups. Hiro has also written works of fiction.
