| Awards for Excellence Mazhar Butt
Since 1974, Mazhar Butt has seen his family business grow from one shop in Nottingham, to a multimillion pound business which is recognised as one of the largest speciality naan bread manufacturers in Europe, employing over 100 people. As a successful businessman he has reinvested into his local community through various charitable and community activities, including contributing to local Islamic schools, radio stations and community centres. He was given Lord Mayor’s Award for Industry in 1994 and 1997.
