| Awards for Excellence Cynthia Capey
For many years Cynthia Capey has promoted understanding between Muslims, Christians and Jews in Suffolk. She has been supportive of the local Muslim community, campaigning vigorously to advance a better understanding of Islam in schools, church circles, statutory and voluntary organisations. Through her work Muslims have been invited to give talks about Islam in school assemblies and police officers have visited the local mosque.
