Muslim Hands
Established in Nottingham at the time of the Balkan crisis in 1993, Muslim Hands has grown from the local initiative of a few Muslims to an international charity that now operates in 40 countries. It spends in excess of £5m annually on projects ranging from disaster relief, medical aid, education, tree planting and long-term development initiatives. It has also established long term development projects which include blood banks, orphan sponsorship scheme, libraries, eye-care camps, and water and sanitation schemes.
